Forty health professionals received trainng on the most appropriate, safe & effective methods to prescribe & progress exercise for people with osteoporosis at a BoneFit workshop held on November 18-19 at Providence Healthcare, Toronto.  Participants ranged from physiotherapists, kinesiologists, rehabilitation assistants to nurses, exercise trainers and students. UHN Toronto Rehab as well as Providence Healthcare staff came out to participate and learn from the evidence-informed exercise training workshop.

Led by Judi Laprade, Associate Professor from the Department of Anatomy at University of Toronto with support from Bonny O’Hare and Sue Merritt of Pro Motion Therapy – the weekend workshop received extremely positive feedback from attending participants.
