2010 Osteoporosis Clinical Practice Guidelines
The 2010 Osteoporosis Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Osteoporosis represent a shift in the prevention and treatment of osteoporotic fractures, moving the focus from treating low mineral bone density (BMD) to better identifying fractures caused by weakened bones (fragility fractures). Osteoporosis Assessment Tool
The Long Term Care Safe Administration Therapy Tool for osteoporosis was revised in May 2018 by the Ontario Osteoporosis Strategy and GERAS Centre for Aging Research to include recent changes to the Limited Use Codes.
