Join the co-chairs of Health Quality Ontario’s Hip Fracture Quality Standard Advisory Committee, Rhona McGlasson and Dr. James Waddell, on this provincial webinar as they discuss how health care professionals across Ontario can use the evidence-based guidance, measurement tools and implementation supports in Health Quality Ontario’s new Hip Fracture Quality Standard to improve the quality of hip fracture care.

The webinar explores the relationship between the Hip Fracture Quality Standard and other important provincial hip fracture initiatives, including the Hip Fracture Quality-Based Procedure, the Rehabilitative Care Alliance’s Hip Fracture Rehabilitation Pathway, and national efforts to pilot the collection of new hip fracture data elements.

Finally, Dr. Christine Soong presents an Ontario success story demonstrating the Hip Fracture Quality Standard in action as she describes how Sinai Health System has moved into the ranks of the best hip fracture performers in the province for several years running through their implementation of an evidence-based, interprofessional model of hip fracture co-management.
